Hot days, even hotter racing, and cool rivers rule at Loretta Lynns! Check out the photos from the awesome we Call Loretta's!
There was a massive thunder & lightening storm last night that led to a down pour of rain! The storm was awesome; way rad! Flashes lit up the entire sky! Lol. This morning was quite muddy, but now the track is looking prime! Many champions have been crowned, and overall, it has been a good week! Here are the last of the photos from Miranda's Eye at Ponca City Grand Nationals! We're off to Loretta's in good ole' Hurricane Mills, TN. Check back ya'll! Oh & don't forget to take a look at my personal website www.PurpleMonkeyPhotography.Com where you can find other shots that didn't make it onto Jaisaac's site! Thanks again for reading my posts. Outti!
Today was the final day of racing here at Ponca. It rained last night so the track was wet, the weather was cool, but the racing was hot as ever! Jaisaac raced the main in the 85 open. He got a nasty holeshot and was leading the entire race till he slipped up in some mud. He got up quick and was able to finish 2nd. We're on our way to Loretta's right now so stay tuned for more awesomeness!
Today was a long day! Second motos were completed, and now the real action starts…the run offs! Here are some photos, check back for tomorrow's post! :)
Today was the fourth day of racing here at Ponca City...the heat still hasn't let up! Jaisaac got 3rd in the 85/150 mod class and ended up with 3rd overall. Tomorrow's the mains so there should be some good racing, so stay tuned!
Second motos were started early this morning! Nothing too new since my last post! The only motocross national dog show was tonight, it was pretty entertaining :) Whoop Whoop.
Today was the Third of racing here at Ponca City...The sun was scorching and the racing was even hotter! Jaisaac raced hard and got 2nd in the 150 class. In his 85 mod class he was running out front and crashed on the first lap, while chargin back hard he took another spill and ended up in 10th. Super Bummer. Plenty of pics of the day, so peep em!
The first round of motos was completed today, ending with moto 76! No clouds, no rain, just sunny warm…HOT…weather! Here's some of the action that went down, check back tomorrow for the looks of the second motos! Adios amigos!
Today was the second of racing..It was a intense day of racing to say the least. Jaisaac grabbed holeshots in both motos. Gettin caught up in some lappers ended up in a 4th and Gas problems led to a DNF. A bunch of other homies were gettin it done. peep the pics.
Hey there, today went superb! I personally didn’t feel as hot today/feel the lack of energy compared to previous days, but it is only Tuesday! The temp. was 107 degrees, with a heat index of 109 degrees…so not too big of a difference there! Thirty-nine motos were completed! All right, now let’s go on with the photos :)
Today was the first day of racing and it was awesome!!! Jaisaac crashed in his first 150 moto but battled back to 3rd. In his second 85/150 open moto he checked out from the start and never looked back. A bunch of the homies were tearin it up and doin the damn thing!
Today was good; I still can not get over how hot it is though! Wears me out! Hahaa, but the day was full of practice. Riders getting time on this track, and making sure their bikes perform how they should. There were a few crashes which suck, and I hope no one else gets hurt! I had some difficulties with my equipment, which made me super bummed that I couldn't get the shots I was looking for! Tomorrow should be sickkkk though! I'm good to go thanks to Austin White for lending me the twin to my lens! Whoo. Looking forward to it! Thanks for taking a peep, come back tomorrow! Peace.
Today was practice day at the Ponca City Grand Nationals. It was hot and humid, but the track was good and dudes were shredding. Check out the flixs!

The track got totally ruined from yesterdays races so the crew at Washougal set up a grass turn track for the final day. The turn track was slippery to say the least. I'm pretty sure everyone that rode it fell at least a couple times. Unfortunatly the slipperyness of the track got the better of Jaisaac in most of his motos. He'll brush it off and get ready for competitive edge and Mammoth. I shot some cool photos today of tons of homies so check em out!!!
Due to a tremendous amount of rain fall, the Washougal staff decided to have everyone race the grass track! The morning kind of sucked because the track was slick, but towards the end of the day; the track was prime! Lots of ruts, sunshine and all! The day was full of crashing though, and lots of banners being drugged around! Now it’s time to head home, and wait until the next race!
Well we were all hoping for some sunshine on the first day of racing here at Washougal, but that didn't happen. It rained all day and really started pouring towards the end. Jaisaac did super good in his supermini motos winning both of them, which means we're goin to Loretta's!!!! Check out the pics of the washougal rain madness!
Welcome to Washougal, Washington folks! Let’s get started with the first day of the Loretta Lynn’s Regional Qualifier! Today could be described with many close related words, but they all revolve around one thing- RAIN- and lots of rain! The weather reports promised sunshine and 65 degree weather, but unfortunately it was a lie! The track was slick and sloppy with the condition of the course only getting worse as the day went on! Practice was cancelled yesterday in order to keep the track in the best conditions as possible, and the staff did a fine job considering what they had to deal with! Check back tomorrow for another photo report!
We've been getting dumped on up here at Washougal. It's been raining so much that they canceled practiced. With a little bit of free time on our hands we played some golf, some dice, hung out with friends, and went bowling. They're racing rain or shine tomorrow so stay tuned!
We made the 12 hour trek from the Locks compound to get to Washougal early and grab a sweet spot. It's super rainy so we set up camp under some trees. Practice got cancelled so it's pretty mellow right now, but the mud madness will be starting before we know it!!!

Jaisaac didn't feel it was the right time to start racing the nationals yet after being injured just 3 months ago so we just hung out with friends and watched the racing. Don Naughty stayed behind some stay tuned for some crazy antics from him there. Check out the pics I took.
